About Wasteland Press
Wasteland Press is located in Shelbyville, Kentucky. To find out more about this small town in the heart of the Bluegrass state, please click
here. Wasteland Press CEO, Timothy Veeley, started the company in 2000, at a time when the bubble was bursting for many on-line companies. Wasteland, a tribute to Veeley's favorite T.S. Eliot poem, specializes in publishing poetry, short stories, religious/inspirational, fiction, and non-fiction novels for writers trying to get noticed. As a frustrated poet wanting to get his own book published through traditional publishers, Veeley started his own publishing company and made his own dreams come true:
"Not many people can say they make dreams come true. I made my dream come true seven years ago and now, I get to make people like myself dream's come true. I can't tell you how good it makes me feel to have someone e-mail me or walk up to me and tell me how long they have have always wanted to publish their book and finally their dreams come true."
Since its creation, Wasteland Press has published over 500 individual titles, in hardback and paperback formats, including two books that have been optioned by Hollywood screenwriters.
